An English made Hallmarked Sterling Silver and Hand Cut Lead Crystal Hogget Decanter. Also known as a Hoggit our round bottom silver Port decanter is supplied with a polished mahogany base that is made from wood grown in sustainable forests and it is presented in a beautiful satin lined gift box. Free delivery is included for UK customers but would overseas customers please enquire about shipping charges prior to ordering.
Height including base = 300mm.

The name Hogget comes from the fact that the host of a dinner party keeps the special wooden base for the hogget next to him at the table. The Hogget is then passed round the table and ends up back with the host who puts it in the wooden base. No one at the table was able to "Hog" the port.
