Collectable thimbles

This section is dedicated to thimble collectors. All of the thimbles shown in this section are made of hallmarked sterling silver and all are completely hand made by well known Birmingham silversmiths A.J.Poole. This company have been producing top quality English made silver items for many years and recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. All the thimbles displayed in this section are completely hand made using traditional methods. Our silversmith uses all sorts of silver components that they come across and combine them on the thimbles shown here. Some are one offs and others are part of small production runs. Recently our silversmith has started using coloured enamels to enhance the thimbles and some of the finished items are shown here.
